A mission-driven Global Leader in independent engineering and technical advisory for the renewable energy industry is hiring for their Wind Asset Advisory group, providing solutions to support wind farm operational success. This individual will operate as the primary wind turbine blade expert within the North America region, whilst also supporting the global team in execution of blade-related work. This is a full-time role, offered remote in the US, with some expected travel to site. The salary offered is expected to be between $100-130K commensurate on experience. (+ Bonus and benefits)

Responsibilities
You will lead the execution of all blade engineering consulting projects, including blade design reviews, blade inspections and blade damage reviews
You will be involved in other advisory activities, including operational cost modeling, turbine tech reviews, operational wind portfolio reviews, and other turbine site suitability assessments
There is a sales and client facing element here, in collaboration with the Sales Team. Providing technical expertise to proposal presentation
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in a relative field, which could include Physical/material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy)
Minimum 8 years’ experience in the wind energy sector
Expertise in composites engineering, manufacturing, and repair
Experience with wind turbine and blade loads modeling and engineering software, e.g. FAST, Flex5 Bladed, Ansys, Adams, etc.
